Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

A solid grasp of privacy laws in the JAPAC region, including APPI, PIPL, and DPDPA, and experience working with legal teams across different countries. Strong communication skills are key for building trust with business partners and legal colleagues. Ideally, you have a privacy certification (CIPP-A) and some knowledge of AI governance. You should be proactive, a good problem-solver, and able to juggle multiple high-priority projects. Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is a plus. You need to be organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in both English and Japanese. Additionally, you should follow environmental, health, and safety regulations and be able to represent the privacy function in various initiatives.
